Quality Builders Electric “What’s Inside”

When Quality Builders Electric (QBE) approached us to create a compelling image spot for their company, we were very impressed by the way that they clearly embraced state-of-the-art thinking and technology in their business, while maintaining perspective and focus on the what the customer needs. To that end we were inspired to create an elegant message that had a high tech feel with a human touch. Copywriter Norm Mayall penned the script while umami media developed the rest of the spot from the ground up, including the custom music. The work pipe line was entirely 1080p from beginning to end ensuring a pristine production.

This was a series of 2 ads and a show opener hard to say anything more than thanks to the tremendous talents of Tim and Dana this project would not have come off nearly as well. Several client driven last minute tweaks worked to undermine the concept by attempting to speak to the audience at a 3rd grade level.

Q: How many digital artists does it take to put up a blog?
A: Well for the boys here at umami media, llc. it apparently takes all of us…
As we start to populate this blog we will be posting past projects that have a special place in our hearts for various reasons. We will also be posting our new projects as we complete them. Of course we will do our best to share interesting facts about the project with storyboards, treatments, etc… to add a little flavor.
